About Us

The Anchor of Hope Pregnancy and Family Care Centre is a non-profit agency which offers assistance to anyone facing an unexpected pregnancy or challenges due to pregnancy or abortion.  We focus on the life and well-being of each person who walks through our door.  All clients are provided with accurate information on their options, recognizing that each option will involve some amount of loss or grief.  We focus on their values and personal goals in order to help them identify what each of those grief journeys might look like.  

The Centre will provide non-judgmental, free, safe, and confidential care so that every person facing and unexpected pregnancy or in need of care is not alone.  Our well-trained staff and volunteers can provide information about options as well as support through the decision making process and beyond.

We are not a medical facility and therefore do not perform or refer for abortions.

Our Mission is to actively reach every individual in the Greater Central Hastings area who is facing a crisis pregnancy or pregnancy-related issues and to provide hope now and into the future.
